Building on the success of the 2024 and 2025 editions, we are delighted to announce the third edition of the European Space Agency’s SPAICE Conference, to be held in 2026.
SPAICE 2026 will bring together leading researchers, engineers, and industry experts at the intersection of artificial intelligence and space exploration. As AI continues to transform the way we design, operate, and understand space missions, SPAICE offers a unique forum to exchange ideas, showcase breakthroughs, and shape the future of intelligent space systems.
We invite scientific contributions and innovative applications addressing all aspects of AI for space: from on-board autonomy and data-driven mission operations to Earth observation foundation models, planetary exploration, and AI applications for space safety. Submissions fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue between AI research, space engineering, and mission science are especially encouraged.
Join us in fostering fruitful discussions, inspiring collaborations, and a shared vision for the future of AI-powered space exploration.
Stay tuned for further details on key dates, themes, and submission guidelines, and prepare to be part of the next frontier where Space meets AI: SPAICE 2026. As a wise master once said: “Patience you must have my young Padawan”. We will regularly update the webpage!
