In order for your accepted submission to be included in the conference program, please perform the following two steps:
- At least one author of an accepted submission has to register for the conference and attend in person to present their work (oral / poster). You can register here. Accepted submissions without a registered author will not be part of the SPAICE 2026 program and proceedings. If you are not from an ESA member or cooperating state: please contact the registration office early to ensure that you are eligible to enter ESTEC.
- Confirm who will present your work at SPAICE 2026 by submitting a final revision on Openreview. In addition, you can upload a revised version of your paper.
- For orals: Resubmission of a revised manuscript for publication in the conference proceedings is mandatory.
- For posters: Publication in the proceedings is optional.
These steps have to be completed by the following deadlines for your work to be included.
Revision deadline: 14 August 2026, 12:00 PM CEST.
Registration deadline: 6 October 2026.
How to submit a revision on Openreview
- First, go to the SPAICE 2026 Conference Authors Page on Openreview and select your submission.
- Select Edit (top right corner) and then “Final Revision”. Fill in all required information and update the title, abstract, and PDF (if required). Note: If your paper was selected for poster presentation and you do not want to publish the paper in the proceedings, do not update the PDF.
Preparing your revised manuscript
- For the revision, the page limit is increased to 5 pages (instead of 4). All other formatting rules remain.
- Please resubmit a non-anonymised version of your paper by using \documentclass{SPAICE} in the header of your latex file (instead of \documentclass[doubleblind]{SPAICE}) before compilation. You can now also include links to GitHub repositories, acknowledgments, etc.
- Please revise your paper by addressing the reviewer comments or adding other minor changes that improve your manuscript. However, the essential content of the paper has to remain unchanged compared to what the reviewers have seen. You can find the reviewer comments below your submission on Openreview.
To be included in the proceedings, papers have to satisfy high scientific, technical, and writing standards (e.g., proper citing of previous literature) and have proper formatting (e.g., use the conference template). For a reference, you can consult the SPAICE 2024 Proceedings.
